About Hunt Architects is seeking a passionate Architect or Architectural Graduate to work with a leading multi-disciplinary design firm based in our Melbourne Studio. The right candidate will need to have 4-6 years’ experience, a focus on quality design outcomes, and an appetite to get stuck into an exciting pipeline of projects.

This is an opportunity to join our growing Studio, working closely with our Principal, Will Lakin. We are seeking a candidate who is also looking for the opportunity to continue to develop their design and delivery skills, and elevate their career to the next level. You will need to have strong design experience, the ability to work in a team, and take projects from inception to completion. Your passion for driving projects and teams will be evident as will your ability to refine and grow your technical resolution proficiencies.

Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.

Expectations of the Role:

• Whilst reporting to the Melbourne Principal, work with project leads and a team of architects and technicians on projects ranging from $1M to $50M+.
• Working directly with the Melbourne Principal on feasibilities, masterplans, designs and submissions with opportunities to follow projects through their design, development and delivery.
• Interpreting client needs and completing detailed design concepts
• Working effectively with our studio team in Perth.

Minimum Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification in Architecture
• Software proficiency in Revit, InDesign and Photoshop
• Rendering experience desirable
• DA preparation essential
• Documentation experience essential
• Organisational skills with a strong ability to multi task
•  Knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards
