Hunt Architects acknowledge the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and conduct our business.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present. We value their continuing culture and contribution to the life of our nation, regions and cities.

Strengthening Community Through Shared Sport

Hamer Park & Moyle Pavilion

Design in Harmony with the Landscape
The architectural response prioritises integration with the natural environment, blending new buildings into the existing park setting. Large verandahs, shaded viewing areas, and open connections between indoor and outdoor spaces enhance amenity while maintaining a clear relationship to the surrounding landscape.

A Stronger Community Hub
The project outcomes extend beyond upgraded sporting infrastructure. The new pavilions support healthier, more active lifestyles by providing safe, functional, and welcoming spaces that encourage community use. They strengthen cohesion among diverse sporting clubs while creating social spaces that promote interaction, belonging, and a shared sense of ownership.
