The majorly redeveloped St Vincent’s Catholic Homes Residential Care Facility in Guildford offers a transformative vision for aged care. Perched on the picturesque banks of the Swan River, this new facility represents the perfect blend of modern technology, architectural excellence, and a deep respect for community and nature. The redevelopment features an 85-bed residential care facility spread across a two-story configuration, complete with undercroft parking and service areas.
This thoughtful layout fosters close-knit communities within the larger facility, with each wing offering its own dedicated dining and lounge spaces. To enhance residents’ quality of life, the building’s shallow plan ensures optimal natural light penetration. The interior design incorporates large windows that frame stunning views of the Swan River and surrounding native bushland, seamlessly connecting residents with the beauty of the outdoors.
