What is an industry topic that interests you at the moment?
“One industry topic that interests me at the moment is the future of the Perth CBD. As the city continues to evolve, I’m interested in how architects can help transform vacant and overlooked spaces into places where people want to work, visit and spend time. I think adaptive reuse plays a significant role in creating a more vibrant and sustainable city. I’m particularly fascinated by the idea of unlocking the ‘second floor’ of buildings, reopening forgotten rooms and underutilised spaces above the street level that have the potential to contribute to the life of the city.”
